The Season of Self-Love
I love the holidays. Spending time with family and friends and giving thanks for the joy in our lives. But this year, Iām extending my appreciation a bit furtherāto embrace a āseason of self-loveā that we too often neglect.
This year has been one of incredible change for me and my family. I left a longtime and stable CTO career to launch a coaching business. I sent kids back to college and watched another graduate. And I have leaned fully into my unique superpower and purpose of accelerating the potential of women in tech.
Thatās a lot to be thankful for and celebrate. Most of all, it gives me the confidence and perspective to shower myself with some āself-loveā for whatās been achieved.
This monthās newsletter is about recognizing that. Because in all the chaos, struggles, and self-doubt, these moments of reflection are truly worth cherishing. As we begin the busy final weeks of 2023, my wish for you is to devote as much time to loving yourself as you spend on others. If you do, you can expect to start 2024 stronger and more resilient than ever before.
Always empowering your success,
P.S. My inaugural Women in Tech group coaching cohort is wrapping up next month. Watch for details soon on the next group starting in early 2024.
Shattering the (Inner) Glass Ceiling
Beyond external barriers like bias and lack of representation, thereās an āinnerā glass ceiling that keeps many of us from acknowledging our full worth and potential. But this āceilingā is one WE control, and you can shatter the self-doubt and fear thatās holding you back.
