Start Your Year Empowered
Approaching my 50th birthday and ushering in 2024, I find myself deeply immersed in the theme of empowermentāa feeling that not only resonates within me but also vibrantly echoes in my work with clients.
To perform at our best and feel our best, we need to feel empowered. For women, thatās especially trueāand often pretty difficult. Itās hard to feel empowered when you arenāt putting your needs or feelings above others, whether thatās at work or a home.
The stress of feeling overburdened or that youāre at the whim of others depletes us. Weāre often told to combat these feelings by setting boundaries or putting further restrictions on ourselves. But, Iāve found the best way to empower me is to better understand meāto deeply get in touch with my strengths and what drives me, and to find ways to lean into those activities (and people) who nourish my āpower.ā
This year, thatās what I wish for you: a year less about restrictions or setting limits to deal with your stress and more about empowering you to find your true and fullest self, and practicing ways that will bring your true self to everything you do.
Always empowering your success,

Understanding āYouā is Key to Empowered Leadership
Ā
Leadership isn't just about guiding others; it's about deeply understanding ourselves. When we explore our leadership styles, strengths, and areas for improvement, we gain a sense of clarity that empowers us to lead more effectively. This introspection is particularly crucial in the fast-paced, often unpredictable realm of technology.

Connected & Empowered
When women empower each other, anything is possible. Thatās why I am beyond proud and thrilled to serve on the inaugural board and executive leadership of Women in Tech & Entrepreneurship (WTE).
Iāll have the distinct pleasure of serving alongside 29 incredible women from as far west as San Francisco and as far east as Fort Lauderdale to build meaningful connections, support networks, and resources for women leaders around the country.
Just like I told Orlando Tech NewsĀ this month, Iām not surprised that the organization has grown so rapidly in a year. Since its inception, WTE has created a transformative community that nurtures and empowers women entrepreneurs and technology leaders, providing a unique support system free of judgment where women have an opportunity to make real connections as they navigate the challengesāand opportunitiesāof our industries.
Congratulations to each of our inaugural board members, ambassadors, and chapter chairs. Stay tuned for more exciting updates and opportunities for my sister tech leaders!

THRIVE TIP
One of the best ways toĀ build more inclusive work culturesĀ is to encourageāand EMPOWERāpeople to be their true selves. This is particularly true for women. When we show up as our true selves, we encourage others to bring their whole selves to work, too.
